BEST WAY TO LOSE WEIGHT*-Learn to Dance at JUST DANCE
BALLROOM!
*(& Keep healthy)
OAKLAND, CA – December 2007 Marie Osmond lost 30 lbs.
and 4 in. off her waist while dancing on the ABC 7 TV
show “Dancing with the Stars!!!” What more incentive
do you need to have fun and look GOOD for the
holidays and start the New Year 2008?
Learning to Dance is the BEST alternative to joining
a boring, smelly gym to get in shape. Many times
interest in a gym membership diminishes after the
first month or so. It’s just too much work, and after
working all day, who wants to go to the gym and work
some more? Dancing, on the other hand, is fun! And
contrary to a gym membership, the more you come
dancing, the more you like it! It’s addictive, but in
a GOOD way.
Recent studies have proven that dancing is good for
your health. Dancing engages all of your body parts
in a low-impact activity. “But, don’t think it’s a
lightweight activity,” says director & dance
instructor, San Manh, “you get a terrific
cardio-vascular aerobic workout, and learning dance
steps helps improve memory.” The physical activity of
dancing is good for heart & pulmonary health,
blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis, losing weight,
positive attitude & improved disposition and
more, because keeping your body & joints active,
especially as we all age, is beneficial. “The side
benefit of learning to dance is that you smile more
because it’s fun and a great social outlet,” he
continued.
Great social outlet indeed! Perhaps we should have
titled this press release, “Meet your Future
Significant Other while Learning to Dance,” as many
of our regulars have stories about how they met while
dancing and ended up marrying their dance partners!
“Guess they liked their partners’ moves,” said Paul
Yee, president and also a dance instructor. “Ballroom
dancing IS a partner dance, and I guess it is only
natural that as we pair up singles and rotate
partners during our lessons, that compatible people
naturally find each other,” he continued, “but in a
comfortable, non-threatening environment where that
is the side benefit, not the main objective. See,
learning to dance IS fun!”
